In Defense of Art Making: Stories from Women Artists
Step into an evening of powerful stories, stunning art, and meaningful connection.
On Thursday, June 26th at 7:30 PM, the Push Comedy Theater will be transformed into an elegant art gallery, where women artists take the stage to share their personal journeys, challenges, and triumphs in the world of art.
Through live storytelling, these incredible women will offer intimate glimpses into their creative processes, struggles for recognition, and the ways they’ve used art to speak their truths. In addition to the storytelling, the theater will feature an exclusive exhibition of artwork by women artists, giving attendees the chance to engage with pieces that reflect the passion and vision behind each story.
To accompany the evening’s rich narrative and visual experience, enjoy a selection of wine, charcuterie, and lively conversation with other art lovers.
Venue Information: The Push Comedy Theater only has 90 seats, so we recommend getting your tickets in advance. We’ve been making people laugh since 2015 and are located at 763 Granby Street in Norfolk, VA. Parking is extremely limited, and we encourage folks to be respectful of surrounding businesses and residential parking spaces.
