This summer, the fairy tales you grew up with return the way they were always meant to be: strange, violent, a little weird… and, for one night only, very funny.
Join us at Push Comedy Theater for Unfairy Tales, a comedy show inspired by both the beloved fairy tales everyone knows and the darker folklore those stories came from. The evening features a mix of scripted sketches, improvised scenes, and comedy games inspired by the worlds of the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen, and other legendary storytellers.
We’ll reimagine familiar tales, dig into some lesser-known nightmares from classic folklore, and create at least one entirely new story live onstage… the kind of strange little tale those original storytellers probably would have happily added to the collection.

Venue Information: The Push Comedy Theater only has 90 seats, so we recommend getting your tickets in advance. We’ve been making people laugh since 2015 and are located at 763 Granby Street in Norfolk, VA. Parking is extremely limited, and we encourage folks to be respectful of surrounding businesses and residences parking spaces.
